As a result of Kentucky House Bill 843, the Regional Planning Council’s charge is to: assess the need for mental health and substance abuse services in Northern Kentucky; educate and inform local leadership about these regional needs and communicate these needs to the state-level commission, in order to influence the budgeting process and fund allocation.

The Mental Health Awareness Committee’s mission is to educate the public of Greater Cincinnati about mental health issues. It aims to increase knowledge of mental disorders and related issues, reduce the risk of mental disorders, increase mental wellness and encourage early and appropriate treatment.
